Some people are telling us that purchasing a home from the Alabama real estate market is spoiling my child, but I don’t think so. I have no one else to give my money to and I think it’s completely deserving of Kathy to receive a house for becoming a doctor! After all, it feels like we pushed her into it and she actually came through with it. Being doctors ourselves, we saw how sweet life could be. It’s a rewarding job that also rewards you monetarily. That’s also how we’re able to afford a home as a present. Kathy has never really been spoiled though. She was told to work hard and then she could play hard after she worked. She has been such a sweet and disciplined young lady, and we’re very proud of her. I think she’s proud of herself too to be able to accomplish such a huge thing.

A Graduation Present
Thursday, May 5th, 2011It Was Valuable
Thursday, April 7th, 2011The house that me and my husband are currently living in has been in my family for so many generations that I can’t even begin to count how many years ago it as built. The fact is that until recently I did not even know the house existed; nor was I familiar with the last owner of the house who was apparently one of my last remaining blood relatives on my mother’s side. We had never met before and I do not know if she even knew of my existence but her will stated that the house be given to surviving blood relatives and since I was all that was left; me and my family soon moved in to a brand new home. It was in great shape when we moved in and even had walls in the basement that were made entirely of Reconstituted Stone; making the house quite valuable.
List Your House Cheaply
Monday, February 21st, 2011Did you know how much money a real estate agent makes on the sale of your house? It might make you a little sick, so the faint of heart are advised to look away and not read any further.
Still with us? Okay, well the listing agent and the buyers agent split between 5 percent and 10 percent of the purchase price. Do some quick math here and see what that would be for a five hundred thousand dollar house. Done? You got it. The listing agent and the buyer’s agent would split between twenty five and fifty thousand dollars.
And where does that money come from? From the equity in your house! You pay, say, twenty five hundred dollars a month for your mortgage payment. Depending on how long you have been paying your mortgage, a certain amount is straight to the principal while the rest is interest. All of that principal contributes to the equity of the house, which means that however long it would take you to pay for fifty thousand dollars of equity is how long you have to pay for your listing agent.

How To Get Las Vegas Real Estate 50% Cheaper
Saturday, August 21st, 2010Are you looking for a smart investment? You can get Las Vegas real estate 50% cheaper just by buying real estate owned, or REO properties. REO homes are basically homes that are officially owned by financial institutions because the original home was involved in a foreclosure. There are actually two main reasons that these types of home are less expensive than the rest. The first reason is that the bank is taking a huge gamble having these homes empty. Without a homeowner, there’s no one to pay the mortgage, simple as that. The second reason these homes are cheaper is because your real estate agent is legally allowed to ask the bank to pay for closing costs. Chances are, the home was already priced reasonably to facilitate a quick sale. Once you knock off the potentially high closing costs, you can see how it’s possible to get Las Vegas real estate 50% cheaper.
