Wednesday, April 20th, 2011Why is It Hard to Find Made to Measure Blinds?
Monday, March 28th, 2011My wife is the kind of person who loves changing the interior decor frecuently while I must admit O don’t really bother much about it. However, most of the changes nearly always have a positive impact as they bring more harmony into our home, although checking my bank account makes me feel a bit uncomfortable sometimes. Last week she drove to Ikea and bought some new blinds which we didn’t really need as the previous ones where absolutely fine. Sadly, trying to install them we realised that they wouldn’t fit to cover our uneven windows and we had to drive all the way back to get a refund as Ikea do not offer made to measure roman blinds . Luckily, we ordered some new ones from a local store which although cost us more, we finally managed to resolve the issue so now we can all be happy for a few months – until my wife decided to replace them again!

Choosing Black Picture Frames for a Sleek Design Plan
Tuesday, January 18th, 2011Perhaps one of the most versatile and overlooked design strategies for the home includes creating stylish arrangements with the photographs and artwork that add warmth to any room. Utilizing black picture frames to do so has become an easy, smart means of designing a sleek, uniform look without detracting from the content of the photos themselves.
Dark shades within the frame design create an attractive and simple outline that often brings out the deeper and more vibrant colors in the pictures, meaning that visitors’ eyes will be directed to the more intricate details of the image. In addition, a darker outline brings the eye’s focus to the center of the piece by simply enclosing it more definitively than a lighter shade. That is, the eye better registers the borders of the piece and can hone in on the content with greater ease. Perhaps the most popular reason for choosing darker frames, however, is simply their aesthetic appeal.
