Things to do in Zamboanga City: Water sports and swimming Zamboanga is proud of its beautiful white sand beaches and most particularly of the exceptional white and sand beach in Greater Sta Cruz Island. We ended up getting the Kelty Cabana from REI and couldn’t be happier! The Kelty beach tent is huge, yet super lightweight. It was large enough for us to set our table up under it along with a couple of beach chairs which was so nice.
